Sam Smiths Organic Best Ale
Yorkshire's famous Samuel Smith's
brewery makes this light golden
ale with a clean, hoppy nose and a
dry, slightly zesty flavour. As an
independent brewery Sam Smith's
has guarded its century old yeast
strain and this gives the beer its
distinctive character in which the
subtle fruity esters interact with
a background of maltiness and
fresh (Hallertau) hops.
This product is Organic and is
Vegan.

Sam Smiths Organic Lager
Hot (or should that be deliciously
chilled) on the heels of their
organic ale, those talented
Yorkshire brewers at Samuel
Smith's produced an organic lager.
Made with lightly kilned lager
malt and speciality Vienna malt. A
generous addition of German hops
gives the beer a significant
bitterness and fragrance. Clean,
refreshing and crisply continental
in style. This product is Organic
and is Vegan.

Strangford Lough Beer
Strangford Lough Brewing Co. is
located in Killyleagh, County
Down, on the shores of the
breathtakingly beautiful
Strangford Lough. Our ranges of
Irish beers are all named after
historical characters associated
with this part of Ireland such as
Saint Patrick and Magnus Barelegs,
the Viking King believed to be
buried on Downpatrick marshes in
County Down. Magnus Barelegs has
two beers named after him -
Barelegs Brew and Legbiter, the
name of his sword. Three beers are
named in honour of Saint Patrick -
St Patrick’s Gold, St Patrick’s
Best and St Patrick’s Ale –
probably the most famous character
in Irish history, who is said to
be buried at the Down Cathedral in
Downpatrick, County Down.

Barelegs Brew is named in honour of
King Magnus Barelegs who reigned as
King of Norway from 1093 until his
death in 1103. He was nicknamed
Barelegs because he wore tunics
which barely reached his knees - a
novel sight at a time when men wore
long tunics that reached the ankle.

Legbiter is named after King
Magnus’ sword. On the day of his
death Magnus was “regaled with a
helmet on his head, a red shield in
